Dr. Renee Moran, a board-certified orthodontist and Colorado native, is a recognized expert in bite correction and holistic orthodontic care. Born and raised in Danville, Pennsylvania, she earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and, after a year of service with AmeriCorps, attended dental school at the University of Colorado on a full Air Force scholarship, graduating at the top of her class. Following a one-year general dentistry residency at the Air Force Academy, Dr. Moran served as a general dentist for three years at Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida.
Her love for the mountains brought her back to Colorado, where she completed her orthodontic residency at the University of Colorado, earning her Master of Science degree and orthodontic certificate. She was awarded “Resident of the Year” by her faculty, highlighting her exceptional skill and dedication. Dr. Moran later served as a clinical professor at the University of Colorado’s Orthodontic Program, teaching her philosophy of bite correction to resident students.
At Foundations Orthodontics, with locations in Centennial, Granby, and Winter Park, CO, Dr. Moran provides care that addresses the teeth, jaw joints, facial structure, and chewing muscles to create healthy, functional bites and stunning smiles. She draws inspiration from her mentor, Dr. Girardot, and is committed to educating patients about the long-term benefits of a stable, functional bite.
Dr. Moran is a member of the American Board of Orthodontists, the American Association of Orthodontics, and the American Dental Association. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities with her husband, Colin, and their three sons, Andrew, Dean, and Keith, making the most of Colorado’s beautiful landscapes.
